Art critiques

His elegance and perfection, after the shock and excitement, provokes an explosion of full belly laughter.

RICARDO GARIBAY

Strempler delves into Mexican popular culture without getting bogged down in mere folkloric artistry. Rather, he brings to the fore, through his stroke and brushwork, the critical irony of the people’s characters, embedded in the traits of the national idiosyncrasy itself.

LUIS SUÁREZ

Strempler is the most Mexican painter of all Mexicans.

ALBERTO MISRACHI

With their vital dynamism, his paintings showcase great craftsmanship and a heightened chromatic sensitivity, creating extraordinary three-dimensional effects.

JOSEPH RASCOB

His work is a true celebration of color and continuously moving forms, and it will be what endures as a faithful expression of vibrant Mexican customs and a testament to a fulfilling artistic endeavor.

RICARDO GARCÍA

Luis Strempler, an enlightened artist from the sacred Tlahuiltepetl, is the chromogen that brings to life the magical colors of the landscape, flora, and fauna, along with the complex human experience, encompassing both vices and virtues. With his skilled hands, he shapes bronze and rough stone to create figures that seem to freeze in perpetual motion, challenging the limitations of reality.

CARLOS BASURTO

Strempler, a fierce chronicler of the land of the plump and the slender alike.
